One thing you should know about me is that I am a big fan of the PlayStation Vita, and Earthbound. That is what drew me into YIIK.  YIIK is a Japanese-style RPG set in the 1990’s and is centered around 8 friends, and promises to have supernatural elements. The Game has been delayed for a while, primarily for personal reasons. Some months ago the developers announced that they were back on the job, and that the game would soon have a release date.

While that is really good, and I can’t wait to play it, I am even more excited that the game will come out on the PlayStation Vita. I love playing RPGs the most on portables, and this one looks like it will be fantastic. I am a little concerned that while their website still advertises a PlayStation Vita version is amongst the platforms that the game will appear on, that it may be passed over due to the fact that most support is coming to an end for the system.    Time will tell.
