The PS Vita is by far one of my favorite portable consoles. Even in 2020 it stands up as a quality console with excellent games and high quality graphics. Most of my games are digital and that is how I like to have them on the PS Vita. However since the official closing of the PS Vita selection on the Playstation Store I have noticed some changes to the availability of certain games.
The first two I noticed was the first two Disgaea games that were originally released for the PSP were not listed on the Playstation Store on the PS Vita console. The next game that I noticed was missing from the PS Vita Playstation Store is the game Trails of Cold Steel 2.

A quick google search revealed that the old Playstation Store was still available for the time being in North America through a special link. I followed the link and verified that the store was being hosted on Playstation servers. After signing in I was able see my purchases, and even search for PS Vita games. I was able to find all three of the games and purchase them.
This proved to be a great work around, but what happens when this link fails to work? That is when all of the people who are advocates of physical editions over digital can gloat. In the mean time if you are as much of a PS Vita enthusiast as I am, I would suggest finding the games you are missing either on the Playstation Store or a physical edition in your local game store. I would do so quickly as Sony is neglecting the device based store, and now that is the only one we have, (officially) it won’t be long before it becomes very difficult to find and purchase items digitally.
